I've got a 2019 Renault Koleos that I bought new and honestly I've really enjoyed it, comfortable ride, decent fuel economy, never gave me any major headaches until recently. But now the AC has started acting up and apparently the compressor needs looking at, and my usual mechanic is telling me he can get the part but it'll take three weeks to ship from somewhere and the price he quoted seems pretty steep for what it is. I started doing some digging online to see if there are places that actually stock Renault parts locally or specialize in French cars because I feel like most garages here are so focused on Japanese and American stuff that Renault kind of falls through the cracks. I came across www.royalprinceautocare.com/brands/renault/ during my search and noticed they list Renault as one of the brands they work on, which was a bit of a relief honestly because I was starting to think I'd have to go back to the dealer and pay those prices. Has anyone here actually used a specialist for their Renault or am I better off just biting the bullet and waiting for the part to arrive through my regular guy? Really don't want to be driving around without proper AC in this weather for three weeks, that's basically a death sentence.
